Online Secure Testing: The Missing Link in Distance Education

Pam Cabalka of Kryterion - Distance Education programs often avoid proctored exams, favoring other forms of assessment, because secure online testing has not been a reality. Now, new technologies including online proctoring via WebCams, keystroke recognition for student authentication etc. are being piloted in real Distance Education programs.
